[2021/September Review] Olens Glowy Eyelighter 3 colored contact lenses

Hi guys, welcome back! Today’s review is about Olens’s latest collection – Glowy Eyelighter. As the name implies, these contact lenses will give a highlight effect (glowy) on your eyes – but not weird neon-like effect. Sounds pretty interesting, right ? Let’s keep rolling down to explore the THREE colored-options they have.

Glowy Eyelighter – Ash Gray

Olive as a highlighter – but on my eyes, it looks more blue-ish

Brief thoughts

I was impressed by how glowy and pretty this color is – a mix between olive, as a highlighter color, with an ash gray base create a very 3D look. My dark brown eyes look a lot vivid and less sleepy when I wear this haha. I have been wearing this a few times, and to be honest, the color is very natural to wear daily!

Glowy Eyelighter – Black

don’t you think my eyes look more amusing with a pop of golden highlighter?

Brief thoughts

Well, if you are thinking the Ash Gray color is a little bit too 3D, Black would be an alternative option for those who just wants to soften your natural dark eye color. Glowy eyelighter in black color is not just “dark and black”, Olens had created a dark gold shade of highlighter, blending in with a soft black base, and this base perfectly mixes with my natural dark brown eye color. This color doesn’t need a heavy eye makeup to go with, your natural eye shape and eye color can still nail this on its own !

Glowy Eyelighter – Brown

oops… I should have rotated the milk brown shade highlighter on the same direction….

Brief thoughts

As you might notice in my picture, the milk brown shade highlighters are facing the opposite direction… So if you decide to try on this line, just don’t forget to put the highlighter part on the same direction, better to let the glowy, highlighter part under and the dark brown base on top – because you want your eyes to glow~ But in reality, literally, no one will notice that (unless they come super close to look at your eyes….). When comparing with the Black color, the Brown gives me a very romantic vibe. It’s not as soft as the black, but still feminine enough for you to wear on a date!

Conclusion

This is the first time I have a difficult time picking and rating my most favorite color! I love all three colors in this collection – natural to wear daily~ The ash gray might look too 3D on picture, but it looks super natural on a daily basis! The mix of colors blend seamlessly with my natural dark brown eyes. If you wear this Glowy Eyelighter line and take a picture under a bright light, these contact lenses are actually glow! Very pretty for taking picture for an eyemakeup look! Even if you are near-sighted like me, these are still comfortable to wear for a long period of time during the day.
